We Finally Had Church!!!
We Had Church!
For a year and a half now we have been working toward our first preview service and we are thrilled to report that we did in fact have our first church service!
But before that could happen a lot of things had to go down. One of the most important is practicing our set up and tear down procedures. When you are a church body without a building like we are, you have to load in and out all of your supplies...that means tables, chairs and even walls. Along with sound equipment, kid's toys and supplies, and everything in between.
We are blessed with an awesome team of volunteers that spent a couple of their weekends practicing this process so we would have it just right for the preview service.
Our First Preview Service
Because of the hardwork of our volunteers and the grace of God we had a very successful first preview service.
We had 222 people show up and 4 people say yes to Jesus! God continues to amaze us in the way he is working here in Thornton and we are thankful to have so much to celebrate.
We can't say thank you enough to all who have and continue to partner with us in prayer and through financial support. This would never have become a reality without you.
Our second preview service is scheduled for November 17.
Friends & Family
You know we love to mention our faithful visitors that we continue to host here in Denver. We enjoyed some fun fishing time with the Colemans, some good family time with the Hopkins and Knapik families and my sister and her family are even here visiting from the Philippines. It is always a joy to play tour guide in our beautiful city.
Thank You!
Thank you so much for your generosity in prayer and finances. We could not be here without you and can't express our gratitude enough.
