This Isn’t Exactly How We Thought It Would Go.
What’s Now and What’s Next
When we launched our church on January 5th we would have never imagined that only 10 weeks our world as we know it would come to a crashing halt. I've read a lot about planting a church and listened to many experts and none of them have recommended meeting for 10 weeks and then not meeting again for an indefinite amount of time but that is exactly what has happened.
Of course this is not how I planned things to go, but I know that I must trust in God's plan and not my own. So while I'm uncertain of what our church looks like 3 months from now, I find comfort in knowing that God loves his church infinitely more than I ever could. So for now we are reaching out to the people we have met and continuing to see if we can help them in any way.
Our Family Update
Like most all of you are experiencing, our family is learning a new normal as well. Lots of games, home made spaceships, front yard basketball, oh ya, and homeschooling...we are doing that too. The kids are doing great so far adjusting to things.
We did just receive news that I cannot go with Dale to the doctor appointments she has for the baby that is coming this summer. Please pray for her as she has to go to these alone and also pray that when the time comes I will be allowed in the hospital with her for the delivery.
