Back At It
We got back to several different things in the last couple of months and we are excited to tell you about it. Thanks for all your love and support!
Back To Church
In the Covid era small is a benefit. Because of our small start we were able to start meeting in August as Church 8025 in the Wilkerson’s home and still abide by Colorado’s covid guidelines. After many months of virtual sermons and gatherings it was so great to be meeting together as a church family. We have now been able to meet several times as a church body and have four small groups meeting throughout the city of Thornton.
While the adults meet in the transformed living room, the kids are able to hear the good news of Jesus at the park across the street. However, we are in Denver and the weather will quickly be changing (in fact we already had our first snowfall in September!) so we are currently looking for a place to gather during the winter that will be able to accommodate adults and children.
Back To School
OWe have been so thankful our school district gave us the option for kids to return to in-person learning. We took them up on the offer and our kids are thriving even under the new guidelines.
Quincey is in 3rd, Ace is in Kindergarten and Bowen is in pre-k. This means Dale has two and half glorious hours with just Lennon at home before Bowen returns and the activity resumes.
On the first day of school we were sad to see them leave, but we enjoyed a quiet breakfast!!
Back to the good ole days
We are always looking for opportunities to connect with our friends and neighbors and trying to find ways to build community. What could bring people together faster than an old fashioned kickball tournament? We had the best time making new friends, competing against old ones and pretending like kickball wasn’t going to give us aching backs the next day.

We know we can't do it alone so please continue to pray for partner churches and individuals, as well as people to join with us here as we start Church 8025.
Two of our greatest needs at this time is equipment and a worship leader. We are trusting God to provide in both of these areas. Please join with us by committing to pray for each of these things.
